Evolution of the Firm
October 1, 2006
By Robert D. Aronson
DEAR CLIENTS AND FRIENDS:
For the last 20 years, I have been very proud to work as an Immigration Attorney at Ingber & Aronson, a firm dedicated to serving a remarkable clientele drawn from roughly 100 different countries who are now living and working in communities throughout the United States. After a long and distinguished career in immigration legal practice, my partner, Jerry Ingber, retired roughly one year ago. Jerry has left a legacy of achievement to this firm and the clients whom he served, but he has rechanneled his considerable energies in retirement into various social, communal, and philanthropic interests, as well as indulging his personal passion for family and travel.
But with this change comes new opportunities and my own rededication to ensuring that we remain at the very forefront as a provider of quality immigration legal services. The firm has continued to expand the scope of its immigration legal services and in this past period of time, I have added talented new attorneys and staff to complement our veteran contingent of immigration professionals. According to one list, we now rank as the 23rd largest immigration practice group in the United States. With this dynamic and gifted staff, I feel that the firm has established a foundation of excellence for years to come.
Therefore, to mark this new era in the firm’s evolution, I am pleased to announce that Ingber & Aronson will now be known as Aronson & Associates.
As a practical matter, the change to Aronson & Associates requires very little of you. I ask only that you please note that our new e-mail address is @aronsonimmigration.com, and that our new web address is www.aronsonimmigration.com. Please note these changes in your address books and default address in your frequent contact list. Our mailing address and phone numbers remain the same.
I want to assure you that this is a change only in name, and not in substance. As Aronson & Associates, we will continue to furnish meticulous and timely legal services in support of our clients’ immigration goals. My staff and I strive to stay ahead of developments in the nation’s constantly changing immigration agenda so that we will be able to advise clients not only on the immediate substance of the law, but also on potential changes that could affect their futures. Our commitment to our clients remains paramount to me and those who work here.
I consider myself to be extraordinarily fortunate in my professional career. More than anything, I hope to create and nurture a culture of commitment and passion in this firm to applying our immigration laws in a professional, timely manner to serve an essential need of our clients – i.e., their right and the right of their families to live in the United States. For me, the wellsprings of my sense of gratification in this professional field lie in the following factors:
- We touch deeply a basic and important value to our clients, providing them with the legal right to attain their personal and/or professional intentions and dreams of developing their lives in this country;
- We serve an extraordinary set of individual and corporate/academic clients, whose talents have contributed substantially in such diverse fields as biomedicine, academia, healthcare, commerce, technology, sports, the arts, etc.;
- We serve a culturally and ethnically diverse clientele drawn from around 100 different countries who now live and work in locales throughout the United States;
- Particularly in this era of great suspicion of the role of foreign nationals in American society, our work contributes to community building and national “melting pot” traditions by encouraging and sustaining a rich, diverse, multi-ethnic, and tolerant society;
- We deal in a constantly changing and complex legal field – immigration law – that struggles to accommodate changing current realities with time-honored jurisprudential traditions, and I think we advocate for the fair administration of the law in an effective manner in these challenging times;
- I have recruited to this firm intellectually sharp and professionally committed employees from whom I learn daily and to whom I hope to provide a meaningful and growing professional experience as we go forward into this new era of the firm’s existence.
So, welcome as a client and friend of Aronson & Associates – a firm having a rich and proud tradition of service and anticipating even greater achievement in this new chapter of our existence. Thank you for being part of our firm’s lore. I feel gratified at our association, and look forward to many future years of professional service.
Please let me know if you have any further questions.
Cordially,
ROBERT D. ARONSON
